Activity 8: Communicating online

For learning to be effective in connected classrooms, communication and collaborative tools must be employed. These help to make learning across boundaries more accessible and rewarding. With these tools, students are able to work along amicably with other students in other cultures and countries etc so as to enhance their learning.

The same is true for facilitators since they are apart of  the entire process to ensure that concepts learnt or taught are in accordance to the standards set by the governing body. They also share and gain experiences, concept and the like with other facilitators around the world.

It is worthwhile mentioning the acceptable behaviours that should be exhibited at all times through communication and collaboration activities. I am eagerly awaiting the full implementation of ICT in school so that these two very important tools can be used in our teaching/learning experiences.
